Service Units

CHOIR UNIT

(a)Head the congregation to offer gospel praise and worship to the lord during church service and events.

(b) Meeting regularly for the music rehearsals at agreed periods of the week

(c) Performing specially rehearsed songs to minister to the congregation to the edification of the church

(d)Providing music to lead worship on special occasions, for example wedding ceremonies, naming, crusade and so on.

(e) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit via church administrator.

PRAYER UNIT

(a) Praying without ceasing for the church.

(b) Ensuring that the fire on the altar does not cease or recedes.

(c) Voluntarily waiting on God to seek God’s face.

(d) Standing in the gap for the Church, members and units of the church on regular basis.

(e) Anchoring prayer sessions before and or during services/events and special programmes.

(f) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit through the Church administrator.

USHERING UNIT

(a)Preach the word of God to all mankind- the saved the word of Truth and the unsaved the word of Grace.

(b) Ensuring orderliness of worshippers conduct and movements during church service.

(c) Taking attendance of the congregation in the church and recording same in the stipulated books.

(d) Collection of all offering during Church services and events, it’s counting and recording thereof into all the necessary books.

(e) Handing over the checked offerings to designated officers, who take them to the bank.

(f) Waiting on the pastor and ministers for errands to meet with officials needs during and after services.

(g) Furnish the pastorate with the reports on the activities of the unit through the Church administrator.

EVANGELISM UNIT

(a) To preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all mankind – the saved, the Word of truth and the unsaved the Word of grace.

(b) To assist the pastorate to plan, organise, and manage evangelistic events in the Church.

(c) Ensure that those who gave their lives to Christ during services are kept in the faith through regular visit and phone calls.

(d) Organise periodic/daily evangelism to bring the lost sheep back to Christ.

(e) Conduct School of Life Believers Foundation Class for first time worshipers.

(f) Setting regularly plan and strategy for church growth through crusade, evangelism etc.

CONSELLING/FOLLOW-UP UNIT

(a) Receive and counsel new converts after church services, crusade etc.

(b)  Collating list of names of new converts and visitors at church services and events so as to follow up them up in order to facilitate their establishment in the faith and in the Church

(c) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit through the Administrator.

TECHNICAL UNIT

(a)Sets up and maintain all public address systems and equipment in the church.

(b) Production of teaching materials on tapes, C.Ds, M.P.3, Cassette.

(c) And any other function that will be assigned by the pastorate.

(d) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit through e administrator.

SANCTUARY

(a) Ensuring that the premises of the church or the church venue of the church events are clean and tidy for the Glory of his name, before, during and after the events.

(b) Ensuring a proper disposal of wastes at designated places.

(c) Regularly clean the toilets, bathrooms, offices and other places.

(d) Enforce the observation of sanitation regulations in the church.

(e) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit.

CHILDREN/TEEN TEACHERS

(a) Teach and instruct the children/teenagers in the way of the Lord.

(b) Maintain order in the church by preventing children and teenagers from listening during the church services or programmes.

(c) Gainfully organising special children events that can impact positively on the life of children and teenagers.

(d) Teaching the children and teenagers to be able to pray so as to overcome personal struggles: academic, spiritual, emotional etc.

(e) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit.

WELFARE UNIT

(a) Organise for funds and other resources to meet the need of the church members.

(b) Identify Church members who need material and spiritual assistance and organise to meet their needs.

(c) Provide succour to assist the poor, widows and the needy within the Church.

(d) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit.

 DRAMA UNIT

(a) Organise and stage plays during church.

(b) Propagate the gospel through drama presentation.

(c) Praise God through the instrumentation of culture.

(d) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit.

TEACHERS UNIT

(a) Preparation of willing Church members for baptism.

(b) Training of volunteers as workers in the Church.

(c) Teach new converts, First timers and or Backsliders during the School of Life Believer’s Foundation Class.

(d) Provide counselling to their students and follow them up to ensure their steady spiritual growth.

(e) Furnish the pastorate with the report on the activities of the unit.

MEDIA UNIT

(a) Documentation and recording of testimonies of church members.

(b) Type, edit and transcribe testimonies.

(c) Follow-up testifiers for relevant details.

DECORATION UNIT

(a) Ensures aesthetic and other beautification of the church for all occasions.
